I AM IN BEIJING!! woo hoo :)
really excited. met up with chinkeat and xuan rong today. so this was what we did:
1. ate lunch at kfc. of all places, yes, kfc. xuan rong's first intro to american fast food. haha
2. went to see 2 apartments. decided to stay at the second one, because the pple are nicer and the place is more convenient. i really like my room! i have a queen size bed all to myself :)
3. visited tian1 tan2, aka temple of heaven. i love the architecture!!! the colors match so well, and i was so impressed by the intricacies of the carvings etc. i want to be a princess!!! haha
4. ate peking duck with mr hong and mr tan. YAY it was DAMN GOOD. just that i was ppretty full by the middle of it, so i didnt eat all that much. and they treated me to dinner too, so i feel pretty bad.
5. headed back to my new apt (which is pretty nice!!) to unpack/shower etc.
the heat is pretty much unbearable! damn freaking hot man. cannot take it.
