i was on the bus today, on my way to the downtown library.
an old couple boarded the bus, both in their late 80s or 90s. the old lady had braids, and both were dressed fashionably, in the old people sense.
it's quite sweet actually, to see people actually still together after 60 (?) years of marriage? there's this calm between them, a silent understanding and concern for each other.
the divorce rates are so high these days its unbelievable. why can't people make better decisions about their lifelong partners and stick with it? open your eyes people! don't be the next britney spears. lol.
