it's still raining! :((
c'est terrible! and the weather forecast said that it will continue to rain until next friday. its really depressing, and i think i need to buy a sun lamp or something. this is why people go to school in california and not minnesota. take note! haha yesterday was spent cleaning up my room, going grocery shopping with bridget (she's really nice! took me grocery shopping cause my stupid roommate mike said he doesnt need to) and trying to figure out what classes i need to/want to take for next semester.
my chem e friends were asking me to go to a beer buffet with them last night. wth! beer buffet? i didn't want to go because 1. i dont like to drink beer all that much (and since it is a buffet, it will be crappy beer as well) 2. i would rather spend my ten bucks on something else. like wine bread and cheese! 3. it was drizzling and it was cold and wet and i didn't want to brave the extreme outdoor conditions.
i dont understand whats the deal with drinking and getting wasted every friday night. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME i tell you. i prefer to wake up early and spend my money on some good breakfast. (something that none of the pple around me seems to understand) maybe its a heng family thing, when we would go to some hawker centre/coffee shop and eat kaya and toast. that's why i bug my friends to eat yakun kaya with me. its not the kaya i tell you. its the company.
i'm going to cut my hair today. hurray! my hair is getting awfully long with split ends and the likes. i finally get to see yezi after like what, 2 weeks? i am going to miss her when she goes to either cali/florida for animation school.
this weekend has been slow (READ: BORING) i've concluded that i've seen all that minneapolis has to offer (by foot) and unless someone drives me around i pretty much cant do much here. and besides, the weather is SO SUCKY for the past/coming week that i really cant do any outdoor stuff (like cycling, or go carting!!!)
i miss singapore! and all my friends. :( i wish that there were more pple like you guys here.
i can't seem to have any platonic guy friends anymore (unless they are bisexual or have gf already) its so sad! it just means that i have one less person to hang out with because i dont want to ask them to go out for cafe for fear of misunderstanding on their part. (i dont understand all this shit about dating someone whom you dont know all that well)
but there's only 45 more days ( i postulate) until i get to see sunny singapore again! yay!
life is big irony. !! i wish that everyone was friends with each other in the world so that there'll always be people to hang out with.
and aren't humans suppose to be social creatures? what's this with being independent (someone told me that i should be more independent) we DO HAVE a dependent relationship (like it or not) with each other.
anyway to end off, here's MY list of to do things when i get back to singapore (you guys need to start reserving me to do these activities with you)
1. eat yakun

3. cycling at ECP
4. BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
