spending thanksgiving at my housemate's mike's place in south dakota. his family is really nice, and i especially love his mum for being curious and so open about a non-american spending thanksgiving with them.
had a great thanksgiving lunch yesterday with turkey (YUM YUM) pecan pie ,mash potatoes and the likes. hanged out at laura's place at night and the whole bunch of them and me went to the house of mary (this outdoor thingy that is a trail that eventually leads to jesus's tomb (its suppose to be educational)) DAMN SPOOKY at night haha
today was kind of mild and REALLY ANNOYING at times. most of the day was spent with laura, mike's gf, around. and she was so negative and complaining a hell lot about nothing the whole time it just made life very unpleasant for me and the other pple around.
watched a series of unfortunate events later in the evening. and had bohemian dinner (think duck) haha not bad lar but i think my sis duck is better haha
but in anycase, i am thankful, grateful and feeling blessed this thanksgiving for having pple around that i am comfortable with and who are interested in knowing who i am (and not just patronising me).
the family has a cat and a dog too! i've been playing with the cat (alot) haha
visited john's farm yesterday.going to his house tomorrow for a wonderful pizza dinner that his mum is going to make us.
thanksgiving has been pretty awesome thus far (even with the minor blemishes). looking forward to tomorrow! haven't felt like this in a long time!
