here's a really long post to make up for being MIA for so long.
its been a month since school started, since i moved into my new house, did the NSW thing, since i got my driving permit (YAY) since i got back to MN.
went to a total of 2 parties (and counting haha) and this weekend has been my best so far. what started out as a feeling-miserable-cause-got-nowhere-to-go friday night that ended with me sleeping really early at 11am (for a friday night) to a wake-up-and-its-sunny sat morning! felt damn good about myself cause i really needed that 9 hrs of sleep to recharge after a really hectic 2 weeks. so i went running by the river and just enjoyed the sun the sky and the sights.
did a little bit of reading in my room, and i was too captivated by the tree the sky and the outside from my window and decided to do a little photo shooting around the house and outside. i love my house alot! its the best house ever. it makes me feel safe :) like seriously. its like my fortress :P i hope i get to live here again next year.
well, let's talk a little about my housemates, pui, mike sharon and john. sharon and john aren't that familiar to me; i'm closer to pui and mike. pui is this really smart born in hk girl with her moments of stressed out ness (which means she'll be damn crabby and ignore me) but really wacky girl haha
mike is this south dakota kid who's learning chinese and majoring in computer science. he's taking 20 credits (i'm taking 24) AND he's working 20 hrs per week which is NUTS. seriously, he's a mad cyclist peddling away for his life. i really respect him. he's one of the few americans that i can talk about intellectual stuff with (like renewable energy, religion and all that stuff i miss talking about with my dearest 6A)
went for dinner with joyce cindy lirong and xing fang (taiwanese grad students) and i must say i really like being with them. i click with them really well and they take care of me as they would their little sister kind of. i love them! i really do. they define my comfort zone and i run to them whenever i have had enough with americans.
and then, watched an hour of kim san sun! OMG it is such a time waster but i think the guy (the doctor!) is damn shuai! hahaha too bad i havent seen any guy like that in minnesota.
AND THEN yezi came over. my other love! she's so fun to be with, and she is one of my best friends here. we were suppose to go to a frat party (turned out it was the next weekend instead) and we started calling pple to see if there were any parties we could go to.
i hit jackpot with evan (the junkie haha) and it was a GREAT party. haha the cops busted it at 2 am though :P but met 2 pple i knew there WEIRD haha but it was fun. :) its always fun with her! i'm gg to miss her so much. :P
this is the best weekend ever. beautiful day :)
