feeling kind of down :(
probably cause i know i'm gg to miss everyone when i get back to minnesota in 3 weeks time.
spending 2 months in singapore is a horrible period of time for me. its not like 2 weeks, short enough to feel like its a holiday.
in 2 months, you start to feel like you have integrated back into the singapore society.
with all your friends and family and food and places and shopping and cycling and tennis and everything else.
gone is the intial excitement of the unknown. replacing it is a sub conciousness of what the year ahead will probably like (loads of icky engineering classes)
no more 6A craziness, late night hangouts at cafes and pubs, shopping in orchard road, tennis, east coast park.
i dont think i can live anywhere else in the world.
if i get an ang moh bf he had better be prepared to live in singapore.
if i get a singaporean bf he had better be pro singapore.
i hate own country bashing pple. like the stupid taiwan guy i met while mugging in the chem eng lounge. "i don't like taiwan. you mean you like singapore?"
my reply? an icy stare and a strong YES.
while i've forgotten all my majulah singapore i must say my singlish still not bad. and my taste buds are still more accustomed to the singaporean palate.
