a look at 2005.
things i've done (in a nutshell):
1. worked part time jobs at maybank and rj
2. 3 week YEP trip to India
3. landed myself with a scholarship
4. internship
5. minnesota!
6. chicago with joan
7. new york and san francisco with sarah
oh yar. and met a flasher in central park. this is seriously the highlight of my trip to NY.
i can't say i've been extremely pleased with what i've done or not done in 2005, but i must say that it was definitely a fulfilling year.
but sometimes so many things happen at one shot that the year has leaped pass you, leaving you with nothing much but straws to grasp at. too many things happening, too little time to reflect.
but i must say san francisco was a good start to a new year. enjoyed myself tremendously there, thanks to the great pple i stayed with and travelled with. the fantastic weather just made everything looked wonderful.
i seriously do not know how i have changed over the past year, but whatever the case i do hope that in the new year,
i'll be
1. at ease with myself
2. more willing to be receptive to pple and new experiences
3. continue to live life with zest
4. more humble
5. give more of myself to other pple
easily said than done. :)
definitely number 2 is coming true since i just got myself into another brawl. haha must say that it's pretty interesting to watch how it develops from a bystander's point of view.
AND did i mention that i told my xiaotian (the senior i stayed with in sf) the wrong airport? so there we were at 1140pm at oakland airport, with the airport police looking at my boarding pass and pointing out that it reads SAN FRANCISCO (damn i knew there must have been a difference b/w the 2 haha). he sped all the way to SFO airport, reaching there at 1215 am when my flight was due to leave at 1245am. damn exciting i must say haha could really feel the adrenaline rush haha :)
