its 845 am on a sunday morning in san francisco. blue skies perfect weather and the right temperature- not too cold and not too hot.
in the house of an edb senior who kindly housed my friends and i here.
listening to sarah talk to her bf for like the past hr while reading straits times online.
and a sudden realisation hits you; its 2006 and one year ago you were still in sunny singapore with a future that seemed so uncertain lying in front of you.
one year from then the future looks probably a little less bleak. but who said it'll be all easy going after the scholarship part?
its moments like this when you are grateful for the lasting friendships that you have forged in the past.
the only thing that stays constant is change. now why does that sound so familiar?
its kind of scary. seriously it is.
but here's cheers to a new year and may many more blessings come our way.
