my bloody network in dinnaken is still down so blogging from school.
chicago was ok i guess. meeting so many singaporeans is DAMN OVERWHELMING (both gd and bad) after such a long time being surrounded by non singaporeans.
had SOME fun in chicago, and seriously, i think its an overhyped city. its just a bigger version of minneapolis downtown, with more shops, more people, more traffic and seriously a much more dangerous city.
first night in chicago and got approached by some crazy guy at the subway trying to chat me and joan up.
WHAT THE HELL.
but the housewarming party at wk's friend's house was pretty nice. gd to meet other scholars again and sort of talk on the same wave length.
met huileng too! yay! finally met her. i think she became slimmer! :)
didn't buy much stuff in chicago. only bought a pair of shoes and perfume for my sis's bday. kinda weird how i am not that much into shopping currently. probably because of the dire financial circumstances i am in.
haha ok i am probably exaggerating. but after winter break, i ll definitely be broke with all the travelling.
ming jing stayed over at my place that day! woke up at 430 am to send her to the airport, with the help of my terrible nice taiwanese friend stefanie who drives.
tried to make chicken rice that night but failed, miserably.
beef stew was good though.
having a hell lot of tests next week. :(
