crazy stuff that you would only do during undergrad.
walk home at 11.30 pm, even though home is like a 40 min walk away and you have to pass by quiet neighborhoods and drunkards and suspicious characters along the way. and oh yar, did i forget to mention that the wind was blowing straight at me and it was FREAKING cold and it was drizzling?
yar that was a pic i took last night. damn pretty right! the trees have lights on them. christmas is coming!

that was what i did last night.
went to my friend, lauren, bday party at her house last night. and in case you were thinking along the lines of loud music, free flow of booze and lots of hot bodies grooving on the dance floor, think again. haha the thing i like abt lauren is how she is so down to earth, and not 'wild' for the sake of being wild. she's the nicest american i have met so far, often asking me to go out with her and her friends either to watch a movie or to her house for movies/food.
so that was what we did, watched iron jawed angels *hilary swank. really gd! bought her a cookbook on asian stirfries and she was so touched! haha cause she mentioned that she liked stirfries. hehe felt quite happy that she liked her bday present.
somehow we startd talking abt bridal showers and bachelor party. and the diff b/w bridal shower and bachelorette party. haha quite interesting.
and so the movie ended at 11pm and i waited for the freaking bus for 30 mins before deciding to walk home. and its great to know that you have friends who are willing to talk to you for 30 mins while you are dying in the bloody cold with a lone street light as your company. its nice to know that if you get robbed at least u can scream into the phone and the person on the other end can like call the police. haha i.e. if she knew where my exact location was haha
started feeling quite high while walking back. its really pretty and surreal you know. the campus and the neighborhood around it. thank god for the many parties that night, so pple were actually walking around, gg home.
was damn tired last night, especially after all that shopping in the afternoon. hehe went to a factory outlet mall. and walked from 1 pm to 6 pm. and spent 36 bucks on a sweater and 3 shirts hehe i am SO broke.
went to a dim sum palce before that for lunch! not bad. i liked the carrot cake. hehe
this weekend was fun :) my room mate's making me lunch again hehe feeling quite fortunate. off to have lunch now! yay!
