ok i should be sleeping now but i decided to blog instead.
went shopping at Mall of America today and guess what, we only covered the first level the 5 hrs we were there (it was THAT big)
bought snow pants, 2 bags (on sale! i'm no shopaholic but the offer's too gd to resist!) and a pair of earrings. spent like 50 bucks for them? the snow pants was like 30 bucks, not cheap (by singapore standards) but it was columbia and the quality's pretty gd i guess.
ate brunch at 11 am, and guess what, the crepe was so gd that it was gone in a min! there's joan (my singaporean friend) looking in horror at the speed at which we finished the crepe! haha she's really pretty right! yesterday, this guy hit on her while we were shopping at the grocery store. he's some HK guy with his bunch of hk/taiwanese friends, and guess what, he was the UGLIEST of the lot hahahaha he has bad dress sense, and the worst thing was that he is damn hamjeet! initially sent his friend to ask for her number... too bad the guy wasn't as cute as one of his friends (look like some taiwanese teenage drama serial actor! haha )
this shop at the mall is really cool! it custom makes teddy bears!!! there's this machine with cotton or what ever inside, and the kids can choose what soft toy skin they want! the teddy bear i was holding was like $15! but its damn cute!!!! and the guy (batman) will pump in the cotton for you, and u decide how much u want! i.e. hard, soft, or just right!
i think its really cool! and i swear i'll get one of these before i leave the US for gd. i don't want to blow 15 bucks on a teddy bear! but oh well, its really cute. AND i ve decided that if i don't get married or get a bf by the time i'm 30, i'll just custom make a big teddy bear that i'll hug to bed each night! haha
decided to stop by the crepe place again! and this time, we made sure we took a photo before we finished the whole thing! haha
this is like 3 or 4 weeks since i've been to the mall. i miss orchard rd! and far east and my beloved ya kun kaya!
i swear i'll try to make kaya during the 3 yrs i'm in the states. :)
